After you apply credit card online, you’ll receive an email acknowledging your request for a new credit card. A separate email will be sent when your completed application has a status change.
- If you are approved, you’ll receive an email to let you know your credit card and convenience checks, if applicable, will arrive soon.
- If you are declined, you’ll receive a letter in the mail within 10 days, with information explaining the reasons.
- In some cases you may be asked to provide additional information before a decision is made.
Keybank Activate Card Login :
Once you receive your new KeyBank credit card in the mail, step one is to activate it. There are several ways to activate your card:
- Activate your card online
- Call the number on the card sticker
- Visit your KeyBank branch
- Call 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968)
Once your card is activated, it is immediately ready to use. Be sure to sign your card on the back right away.
1. Activating your personal or business card is quick and easy. The fastest way to activate is by using KeyBank online and mobile banking. You can also call 1-866-683-6099, and we’ll walk you through the rest so can use your card immediately.
2. If you’re already enrolled in online and mobile banking, sign on and follow the prompts to activate your card.
3. To activate your card by phone, just call 1-866-683-6099 and follow the prompts.
How do I view my credit card balance?
There are five easy ways to view your monthly statement:
- Online Banking
- In the KeyBank mobile app
- In a KeyBank branch
- At 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968) and follow the voice prompts
- In your mailed paper statement
Report Your KeyBank Debit or Credit Card Lost or Stolen
You can report a debit card lost or stolen using online banking, under “Manage Cards.”
Credit and debit cards can be reported lost or stolen by calling 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968). For clients using a TDD/TTY device, please call 1-800-539-8336.
Lock a Misplaced KeyBank Credit or Debit Card
If your card is lost, you can place a temporary lock on it in online banking and mobile banking, under “Manage Card.” Select “Lock/Unlock Card” and use the toggle to select your option. Or call us at 1-800-KEY2YOU® (1-800-539-2968).
The temporary lock stops new activity from posting to your account and gives you time to find your card. When locked, the card can be used to make payments (such as recurring payments for an auto loan), but it cannot be used for purchases. Remember, if a card is permanently lost or stolen, you’ll need to report it and request a replacement card.
Unlocking Your Account
If you accidentally lock your business or personal KeyBank account, you can easily unlock it securely online. So we can verify your identity online, you will need to enter your Social Security number or TIN and have an accurate phone number on file with us.
